- In 1978 a group of talented musicians began playing for the pure enjoyment of the music. They were of Czech, Irish, German, Dutch and Italian descent. The name "Czech Plus" was a natural choice for the band which later evolved. By the Iowa Arts Council we are acclaimed Ethnic Folk Artists.
